How to run the examples
Download mcm3D
in a directory such as
/home/you/EDStar/Mcm3D
Choose a working directory such as
/home/you/EDStar/Work
For each example, copy the following files (if present) in the directory
/home/you/EDStar/Mcm3D/mcmCodage
mcmAlgo.h
mcmEntrees.h
mcmSorties.h
mcmMethodes.h
mcmVariables
For each example, copy the following files in the directory
/home/you/EDStar/Work
example.pbrt
mcm.in
Run
make
in the directory
/home/you/EDStar/Mcm3D
(look at the README files to adapt the Makefile to your environment)
To produce an image of the studied device, go to the directory
/home/you/EDStar/Work
, run
mpiexec -n 1 /home/you/EDStar/Mcm3D/bin/mcm3d example.pbrt
and view the produced
example.exr
file.
To run the Monte Carlo computation, go to the directory
/home/you/EDStar/Work
, run
mpiexec -n 3 /home/you/EDStar/Mcm3D/bin/mcm3d example.pbrt
and view the produced
mcm.out
file (you may for instance replace
-n 3
by
-n 7
if you want to run 7 parallel processes instead of 3).
