Radiative properties used in the Eurotherm 95 CTRPM IV conference

The radiative properties of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii that have been used for the calculations presented in the Eurotherm 95 CTRPM IV conference can be downloaded here ChlamydomonasCTRPMIV.tar.gz. The predictive methodology that have been used for their determination will be presented in [5]. The basis of this method follows from early works such as [1,2]. More precisely, we followed the work presented in [3] in the case of equivalent spheres, and later extended to other shapes in [4]. The radiative properties that are given here are derived for a spheroidal shape. Cross sections are expressed per unit mass of dry biomass, the effective mass of Chlamydomonas being $M_{eff}=9.8615\;10^{-14}\;kg.\mbox{particle}^{-1}$.
